Quantum Linear
Quantum Linear.
The virtual space that sits between my thoughts. This astral place lets me look into the fabric of what could be. blueprints pulled from narratives to which I am only slightly aware.
While the world slept.
The style of production had changed. We were locked in by covid, held safe within the walls of our collective, my family room is my studio, the floor my easel. Ideas are grabbed out of chaotic air, and this new voice rings out.
Tattoo in the void.
The linework of my old ambitions bleed through and tattoo influence surges into my synesthetic theater. I am leaving behind my need for control and completion.
Story teller.
Some stories are untold because they are lost to time, snippets still floating in space like seeds.
We only see what we want.
The universe is filled to the brim with what could be and yet we can only see the things we already know. hallow tunnels of perception hallow shells of what the light has touched.
Let the fun in.
My urge to satisfy others can distract me from what this means for me, these painting are the remains of a dance, the footprints in the sand around a fire of worship, and if I try to make them sensible for others the moment of movement and connection to the muses suffers. So i remember, my joy will find its place.
